SharePoint Designer, blessing or a curse?

Go on admit it. You’ve made at least one major error at least since you downloaded SharePoint Designer.

There have been many a blog entry dealing with why SPD out there in mass for free is a good thing. I certainly agree with free for all going at it is not a good thing, except in sandbox environments.

But doesn’t all the hoopla around this go against crowd sources and open programming movements. don’t we want people to push the limits on what can be done.

I certainly do not want anyone messing around my sites, but I would welcome requests for sandboxes to experiment.

Maybe we or Microsoft should think out how we want to roll out MOSS within our organizations. Like anything within SharePoint it takes planning and consideration.

And let’s face it a good resource.
